By Abigail Squicciarini :

As a foundation year student the field placement process concerned me with the commencement of the program. Majority of individuals entering the MSW program want to focus on micro components of social work so having the opportunity to listen to a macro placement experience was helpful and interesting. I was placed in a macro setting for my first field placement and was extremely worried that I would fall behind with my micro work. I would recommend students listen to this podcast if they are placed at a macro setting when they prefer micro because a macro placement is beneficial and creates a more well-rounded student and eventual professional.
